Mother Proud of “Little Soldier”, Who was Born With Only One Arm and No Leg

Mum Prοud Of ‘Little Fighter’ Whοse Birth Defect Meaпs He Was Bοrп With Oпe Arm Aпd Nο Legs

A mother whose baby was born without legs and with one arm and a webbed hand claims she never contemplated an abortion as she praised her “wonderful” child.

Rosie, age 29, learned during her 20-week ultrasound that her newborn boy was likely to suffer Amniotic Band Syndrome — a condition in which strands in the womb entangle a baby’s limbs and hinder appropriate development.

Rosie stated, “Being pregnant was at times terrifying.

“I underwent scans every four weeks; they kept a tight check on me since each scan revealed a different result. That was great at work since I did not think too much. When I was forced to stop working, I began to overthink the situation.

“I was concerned that anything may go wrong. But, he is such a cheerful individual and does not allow his impairment hinder him in any way.”

She continued, “He has a mischievous grin and is always giggling. He adores his big sister. He may not have all of his limbs and legs, but I find him to be completely wonderful.”

13 May 2021: He was born in Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow, London. Henry was born through caesarean at a healthy 8 pounds and 2 ounces. Little Henry’s father, Peter, carried him over to Rosie and placed him in her arms.

Rosie stated, “As soon as he passed me my son, I fell in love.”

Grandmother Paula adores her grandson and weaves him his own outfits.

Henry’s attire is difficult to put on; you must tuck everything up to avoid an unnatural look. As a result, Grandmother Paula fashioned him little clothing.

“She adores him and says he’s amazing, but she rarely mentions his limbs. They simply accept him as he is.”

Henry’s brother and sister welcomed him with affection, and he loved playing with them.

Tiny Henry is reaching all of his developmental milestones; he can lift toys, lift his head, and roll over.

Henry underwent surgery at Great Ormond Street to separate his webbed hand and is “doing quite well.”

Rosie observed, “He may be without limbs and legs, but I find him to be utterly amazing.”

Peter and Rosie hope that their narrative would convince adults that their children’s differences are OK.

Rosie remarked, “It’s shocking that he’s able to pick up objects without difficulty. He is progressing really well.

Henry is such a pleasant individual who does not allow his impairment hinder his happiness. He flirts and maintains a constant smile and sneaky smirk. He has great affection for his elder brother.
