A mother used Instagram to post pictures of her stretch mark-covered belly to demonstrate that women shouldn’t be self-conscious about their bodies. Instead, she suggests giving up Photoshop and having unreasonable expectations so that you can proudly share these priceless experiences in life. Beyond her good intentions, though, her followers learned a startling fact.

ᴍᴀɴy Pʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ women almost instinctively conceal stretch marks, but Kristin chose not to post this picture with a sweet message.

“This is a 40-week-old, unfilled wOᴍᴀɴ. There is impatience. The intense longing to finally meet him after ten long months is what it is. It’s an ᴇᴍᴏᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ whirlwind. It is still quite stunning, though.

The mother recently said that because social networks display photoshopped images, they do little to help us embrace our bodies. She claims that she has frequently released images similar to these. She decided to try soᴍᴇᴛʜing different this time, so she uploaded an actual photo of her belly.

As Kristin stated, “I wanted to convey what REAL women experience during pregnancy.” “It’s not photo-shopped; not everyone smiles, and not everyone has flat abs. It entails agony, stretch marks, and difficult days without smiles for ᴍᴀɴy moms,” the mom continued.

But ᴍᴀɴy of Kristin’s fans found soᴍᴇᴛʜing unexpected in her belly that went beyond her initial intention to redefine the beauty of pregnancy itself. ᴍᴀɴy people saw in her stretch marks what no one saw at first: the stretch marks formed a tree. An organic tree!

The wOᴍᴀɴ eventually gave birth to her second child, and a week later she tweeted an image illustrating how different her belly looked from the first one. Since it was October, the tree continued to stand there, somewhat faded but attesting to the fruit she had already produced.
