Singer Taylor Swift set a record by winning Album of the Year for the fourth time, more than any other artist in the 66-year history of the Grammy Awards.

Taylor’s album Midnights beat works by SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, boygenius, Lana Del Rey, Miley Cyrus, Jon Batiste and Janelle Monáe to win Album of the Year at the Grammys on February 4 evening.

Previously, she won Grammy three times in this category with the albums Fearless , 1989 and Folklore .
The 34-year-old female singer has a total of 6 Grammy nominations for Album of the Year and is the first artist to win the award 4 times. She failed to win the award twice with the albums Red (2014) and Evermore (2022).
Speaking when receiving the award, Taylor thanked his colleagues, expressing his gratitude and surprise. The pop star said that for her, music is the real prize.
Taylor said: “The prize is the work. All I want to do is continue to create new products. I love this job so much and it makes me happy.”
On awards night, Taylor also won the Best Pop Album category. On stage, she surprised the audience when she announced that she would release a new album called The Tortured Poets Department on April 19.
Taylor Swift received 6 nominations at the 2024 Grammys, including Record of the Year ( Anti-Hero ), Song of the Year, Album of the Year ( Midnights ), Outstanding Pop Album, Outstanding Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (Karma with Ice Spice ).
