When is Fast X on streaming? here’s everything you need to know about how to watch Fast X and when it will be available on streaming.

When will Fast X be available for streaming? Fast and Furious 10 sped its way into cinemas in May – so, here’s how to watch it, and when it’ll be out on streaming.

In our review, we wrote: “Fast X won’t welcome any new apostles to the familia’s way of cinema; this is a hysterical, NOS-fuelled ode to big-screen ridiculousness that’s beyond parody.”

More than two decades after we were introduced to Dom (Vin Diesel) and his street-racing family, we’ve arrived at Fast X. The fallout of the crew’s carnage across the globe is finally catching up to them, and Dante (Jason Momoa), the son of the drug lord killed in Fast Five, wants to tear them apart and make them all suffer.

With the movie out now, here’s everything you need to know about how to watch Fast X and when it will be available on streaming.

When will Fast X come to streaming? It’s been confirmed that Fast X will be available to stream on Peacock from September 15, following its theatrical run, which started in May. It has also been available to rent or buy digitally from June 9 via platforms such as Prime Video, iTunes, and Vudu. As per Universal’s exclusive streaming deal with Peacock, new movies must come to the platform within four months of release, so September is the latest month for it to drop. The digital release arrived just three weeks after Fast X dropped in cinemas. As we said before, The Super Mario Bros Movie is a good example, given it’s also a Universal Pictures release. It’s the highest-grossing movie of the year so far, raking in more than $1.2 billion worldwide – and despite it being in cinemas at the time, it was made available for digital purchase or rental from select online retailers just 41 days after its premiere. You can also buy an exclusive Fast X steelbook via Best Buy, and it’s available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on Amazon Prime and other online retailers.

Will there be a Fast and Furious 11? With Fast X in cinemas now, can fans look forward to another chapter of the Fast Saga?

The Fast and Furious franchise has had a long and complex history. The series kicked off back in 2001 with undercover cop movie The Fast and The Furious. Starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Michelle Rodriguez, the film was a modest success, and spawned an underwhelming sequel.

But the franchise kept motoring, and kept evolving, transforming into a big-budget heist movie around the time of Fast Five, and more recently going sci-fi as the series becomes ever-more ridiculous.

The Fast family returned for Fast X last June, but will they return for a Fast and Furious 11?

Will there be a Fast and Furious 11?

Yes, there will be a Fast and Furious 11. A director and cast are already signed up, and the film will be the final Fast and Furious movie.

Having replaced Justin Lin on Fast X, Louis Leterrier was recently confirmed as Fast and Furious 11 director. Meaning the Incredible Hulk helmer will be bringing the curtain down on the franchise.

“Louis joined the Fast & Furious team seamlessly, with an innate understanding of the franchise that is stronger than ever after two decades,” Universal Pictures President Peter Cramer said in a statement. “Under his direction, Fast X is a high intensity thriller with all the spectacular action, emotion, and twists that the fans have come to expect – and then some. We are thrilled that he will continue to work his magic in the director’s chair.”

According to Discussing Films, Fast 11 is set to drive into theaters on April 4, 2025, so fans should mark their calendars now.

According to The Insider, the upcoming 12th movie will go “back to the basics,” with a budget of $200M or less, and will also be a throwback to the very first film.

Could there be a Fast & Furious 12?

While previously it was believed that the eleventh Fast movie would be the end of the franchise, Vin Diesel’s comments on the red carpet are leading some to believe that might not be the case.

On the red carpet for Fast X, the actor who portrayed Dom Toretto revealed that they may actually be ending the Fast & Furious franchise not with a two-part conclusion, but a three-part finale.

This is not yet confirmed, but if indeed there are to be another two movies after Fast X, then a Fast 12 could be on the way in the next few years.

Robert Downey Jr. wanted for F&F 11

Vin Diesel is the Fast and Furious mastermind, and while plot details for 11 are currently thin on the ground, he has been talking about who he’d like to cast in the finale.

While promoting the Fast X trailer, Diesel told Variety that he wants Robert Downey Jr. in the movie, then described the Iron Man star’s potential character.

“Without telling you too much about what happens in the future, there’s a character who is the antithesis of Dom who is promoting AI and driverless cars and a philosophy that with that goes your freedom” Diesel explains in the above video.

“There is somebody that believes that’s the future, and that’s at direct odds with the Toretto mentality.”
